“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,” -Rom 1:20
God has revealed Himself to man by His word and His work. He has communicated Himself to man via special revelation and through general revelation–the word of God and the creation of God. Creation in many ways can be considered another book God has given us; “The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.” (Psa 19:1-2)
Through God’s creation; as far as the Hubble and as close as the most powerful microscope can see, we can learn about God’s attributes and power. In Genesis 1:1 alone, the first verse of the Bible, God even gives us clues into the triunity of the Godhead; “In the beginning” that is time–past, present, and future, “God created the heavens”, that is space–height, length, and width, “and the earth”, that implies matter–liquid, gas, and solids.
God indeed is awesome to the fullest extent of the word, we cannot but glory at His handiwork. This same God created us also and like every other creation we should communicate the wondrous truth, of who He is and what He has come to do.
